EVERGLADES / FRESHWATER

The water level at the Sawgrass Recreational Park is still high.
The same conditions exist at Holiday Park.  Both locations are reporting
Tons of small bass are hitting top water soft baits in the early morning.  The action picks up again at dusk with larger bass getting active.  Loxahatchie has been a mix of big and small bass hitting throughout the day.  Each spillwell has proven to contain an abundance of fish of all sizes.  Plastic worms are the bait of choice at these locations.

LAKE IDA

Once again the water levels remain high.  The best action has been reported off the
Lake itself in the canals away from the main body of water.  Soft baits have been producing fish of remarkable size.

LAKE OKEECHOBEE

Steady but not outstanding fishing all over the lake.  Heavy winds have affected the early morning fishing.  Light showers  at dusk have resulted in some exciting fishing at the north end of the lake.  A wide variety of topwater baits have been producing good numbers of bass .  Bluegill and catfish have also been active.
